Position: Outreach & Digital Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time, Short-Term)

Overview

Mamas In Waiting, a 501c3 organization dedicated to supporting Black women experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss, is hiring a passionate and organized Event Outreach & Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team for a 6-week period leading up to and immediately following our upcoming Sisters In Bloom Brunch. This role will focus on digital marketing and community outreach to maximize event participation and awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to promote our event

  • Create engaging social media content across platforms (Instagram and Facebook)

  • Work with team to develop a comprehensive strategic outreach list

  • Draft and send emails to potential partners and attendees

  • Track and analyze campaign metrics to optimize outreach effectiveness

  • Initiate relationships with community partners to expand our reach

  • Respond to inquiries about the event through various channels

Qualifications

  • Experience in digital marketing

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Proficiency with social media platforms and email marketing tools

  • Basic graphic design skills for creating social media assets

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Passion for supporting women experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss

  • Experience with event promotion preferred

Hours & Compensation

  • $25/hr for approximately 10 hours per week

  • Flexible scheduling with some availability during standard business hours

  • Remote work with occasional team meetings as needed
